Great Artists Come From Great Arts Programs
But performing arts programs are expensive!
It can be overwhelming for our schools to mount performances with all of the costs involved.
Every Donation Makes a Difference
SPARC is a "Booster Club" for the performing arts. We are a community of parents, industry professionals, educators and performing arts enthusiasts. We know the value of an arts education, but also understand the limitations of a public school budget.
Our goal is to bridge the gap in funding in order to support the hopes and dreams of our performing arts students.
We hope you'll join in our efforts to support the arts in the 2026-2027 school year!
With Your Generous Support
SPARC granted over $41,000 to the arts programs across the district in the 2025-2026 school year. A sampling of the projects your donations supported:
Production expenses for elementary school productions:
-
Brayton's Olympus - The Greek Rock Musical
-
Jefferson's Hydrangea Albright: Comedy or Tragedy
-
Washington's Lost & Found, the Musical
Playwright royalties for SHS's production of Big Fish and LCJSMS's production of Matilda.
Hotel expenses for National Speech and Debate Tournament qualifiers.
Scholarship awards for college-bound seniors
SPARC appreciates the support of our local business community....
