ABOUT US
Give us your feedback. How can you help? We always need volunteers!
The Summit Performing Arts Resource Committee (SPARC)’s mission is to promote the performing arts in the Summit public schools, recognize student achievements, and continuously enrich our programs and productions through advocacy, financial support, and educational initiatives.

Formed in 1996 by Summit parents who recognized the gap between district funding and the ability to stage successful productions, SPARC has stayed true to its mission. Those parents, guided by faculty leadership, had the foresight to realize the link between performing arts and student achievement, life-long learning, communication skills, confidence and teamwork.

For more than 20 years, SPARC has been at the forefront in our community, providing financial and hands-on support to nurture our students’ creative talents and interests in theatre, public speaking and dance. During the 2015-2016 school year alone, SPARC funded more than $75,000 in grants across all the performing arts programs throughout the Summit schools

SPARC is grateful for the generous donations made by our parents and community. We need your continued support to keep these programs going. Please consider making an online donation today!
